MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Comes to Baker — Saturday, Nov. 14!
BAKER — Join us for one of the biggest and most exciting days of the BAYA season — our official MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition AND BAYA's own Kids' Home Run Derby and coaches games!
Kids will compete in pitching, hitting, and running challenges for a chance to advance to the Team Championship level and ultimately the MLB World Series.
"Millwood Ranch represents the kind of thoughtful growth Baker residents have been hoping for."
Date: November 14 | Location: BAYA Fields | Time: Assigned by registration (registration opens Oct. 31–Nov. 4)
What's Happening: Official MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition; BAYA Home Run Derby — open to all ages, including adults; vendors on site; concessions open; a fun, family-friendly day at the fields.
Who Can Participate: Pitch, Hit & Run is open to boys and girls ages 7–14 (as of Nov. 14). The Home Run Derby is open to all ages — kids, teens, adults, parents, and coaches. All skill levels welcome.
Registration for PHR opens October 31 – November 4. Parents will choose a specific time slot for their child to compete. A full explanation of time slots will be posted when registration opens.
What to Bring: glove, bat (optional — some will be available), water, and athletic shoes or cleats.
How the Day Works: Each PHR participant rotates through three challenges — Pitching (accuracy), Hitting (distance), and Running (timed sprint). Scores are combined to determine age-group winners and potential advancement. The Home Run Derby will run on a separate field with divisions for all ages.
Parents & Volunteers: We'll need volunteers to help run stations, check in athletes, and keep the day moving. Volunteer sign-ups will be posted soon.
Stay Updated: All reminders, time slot info, maps, and updates will be posted in the event. Questions? Email bakerareayouthassociation@gmail.com.
